Senior Software Engineer
Plan, design, develop, implement and test networking applications using Python. Work on networking product lines such as Cisco, Juniper, Ericsson, Dell, Aruba. Work on L2/L3 Protocol, Routing, Switching, System Testing, Application Testing (Cisco DNAC) AWS, Cisco Spaces, Connectors, BT, Wi-Fi, wireless, Cisco Prime infrastructure, Meraki MS platform testing, Apple Phones LBT functionality, Roaming feature testing. Feature test automation using Python, TCL, Perl and Frameworks using JT, Arts, Pyats and Ats. Build testbeds in lab containing Cisco Wireless access points, Meraki switches, Cisco routers and traffic generators and manage the testbeds. Test the Bluetooth low energy and location accuracy features for Cisco wireless access points 9162, 9164, 9105. Bring up Meraki switches MS225, MS350, MS250, MS130 and claim on the Meraki dashboard and monitor the switches. Handle regression qualification on weekly and nightly Cisco release builds and report the bugs using JIRA. Work with Cisco Cat 3k, 4k, Catalyst 9300 switches, Meraki MS, Cisco IOS XE, Juniper M, MX, Dell F10 switches, Ericsson routers SE and SSR, Cisco Wireless Access Points, JIRA, Aruba Access Points, Callbox, Vaunix, Dbux, EARMS, TIMS, Radar, Perl, Python, Spirent, N2X, Ixia, Veriwave, AWS. Worksite: Relocation for short/long term projects to various unanticipated client sites throughout the U.S. will be required. Telecommuting is available depending on the project.
