Software Engineer

Business Analysts
KBTS Technologies, Inc. has multiple openings for Business Analysts to use standard occupational tools and knowledge to perform the following job duties. Analyze business processing problems to implement and improve computer systems. Work independently within guidelines to formulate and define system scope and objectives based on user needs based on a thorough understanding of business processes. Participate in developing functional requirements, testing, training on, and implementation of applications. Communicate with clients to understand and document their training needs. Research and analyze health care data to evaluate existing and potential trends/issues using SAS and Oracle. Develop communication methods for the discussion of analyses and recommendations with management. Responsible for driving product-related process improvements for Memberships and for providing support of cross-functional teams. May perform additional duties, as assigned. Jobsite: Novi, MI. No travel or telecommuting. Job duties are project-based and performed on long-term assignments at various unanticipated sites which may require relocation at the end of the project.

Requirements: Master's degree in Business Management, Organizational Effectiveness Development & Change, or related plus one year of experience in the job offered or any occupation involving data analysis using statistical tools. Membership Analyst
Design, evaluate and modify membership benefits. Responsible for analysis, gathering and documenting requirements, testing, implementation, and process improvement activities in support of the Member. Responsible for driving product-related process improvement for Membership and for providing leadership of cross-functional teams. This position performs analysis and research, prepares reports and analyzes trends to support Membership utilizing S Oracle 8i, SAS 8.2, QL, Oracle, SAS, NASCO, GEM, Microsoft Sharepoint, Benefit File Manager, Change Manager, Geno Tables, TSO Tables, CSR Financial. Develops organization business policies and procedures, template communications, conducts project management efforts and cooperates with other departments/organizations in the preparation of analyses. This position will also serve as a Membership representative on cross-functional workgroups.

Sr. Java Developer (Ref# SJD82AA)
KBTS Technologies, Inc. has an opening for a Sr. Java Developer (Ref# SJD82AA) to work in Novi, MI and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.

Duties: Design, develop, implement, test, and maintain business and computer applications software or specialized utility programs, including n-tier and web-based applications, and major enhancements of existing systems, using Java/J2EE technologies. Provide guidance on all aspects of application development and testing. Lead development teams, recommend programming languages and development tools, and provide support in testing. Support efforts to determine and document requirements and provide guidance to developers regarding application design. Participate on projects and provide support to clients and business analysts in translating, defining, designing, and documenting requirements. Provide Java expertise to support existing applications and new development. Participate in the complete life-cycle of releases including solution design, development, implementation, and production support. Participate in the evaluation, recommendation, and selection of hardware and software solutions. Document processes and track all implementation and development activities. Provide support for application production environments. Travel and/or relocation required. Use of Java/J2EE technologies, JSF, JPA, Facelets, JavaScript, EJB, JavaBeans, Servlets, Web Services, Struts, Spring, RichFaces, Hibernate, WebSphere, WebLogic, Oracle, DB2, UNIX, and XML.

Requirements: This position requires a Master’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, CIS, MIS, or a related field. Plus 2 years in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Systems Analyst, Software Engineer, Software Specialist, Programmer, or related experience. Will accept a Bachelor’s degree plus five years progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience. Prior experience with Java, J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, Struts, WebSphere, and XML required. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week, 8:00AM – 5:00PM.
